Barbecue Country Ribs

-4 lbs. boneless country-style pork ribs
-1 bottle (12 oz.) chili sauce
-1 cup ketchup
-½ cup packed brown sugar (we used light brown sugar)
-1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
-2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
-2 tsp. onion powder
-1 tsp. salt (we used kosher salt)
-1 tsp. garlic powder
-1 tsp. chili powder
-1 tsp. pepper (we used freshly ground black pepper)
-½ tsp. hot pepper sauce optional (we used Texas Pete Hot Sauce)
-¼ tsp. Liquid Smoke, optional (we used hickory liquid smoke)

1.) Take a 5-qt. slow cooker out and add in the ribs. In a mixing bowl, combine all the other ingredients together, pouring the sauce over the ribs afterwards.

2.) Put a lid on the slow cooker, set the heat to low, and let it cook for 6 to 7 hours or until the meat’s tender.

Oh my god these were so tender ! They kept falling apart as they were being lifted out of the slow cooker.

Recipe source unknown.

We weren’t paid in any way to mention Texas Pete.
